St. Louis University Hospital (SLU) and Des Peres Hospital have reached a new four-year agreement that extends from January 1, 2012 through February 2016 with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri & HealthLink. This agreement comes after months of negotiations between the two sides that in late December appeared to be at an impasse. The new agreements will provide uninterrupted in-network access for Anthem & HealthLink customers for care received at SLU Hospital, Des Peres Hospital and their associated outpatient facilities.
